Matchbook

In a Name b/w Not Living/Bossa Nova

Simple Machine SMR-018 7", released 1993 (U.S.)

The Matchbook single was awesome. Great songs, wonderful packaging. They actually made a cardboard matchbook sleeve for it. It's cool. However, because it is about an inch taller than any other 7" sleeve, it tended to get damaged in 7" bins around the world. As a result, it is difficult to find one of these in really good condition. All tracks later appeared on World Tour and Other Destinations. "In a Name" was also the first track on the Deep End album. Black vinyl.
