The Joy Formidable

Aruthrol A - The Joy Formidable/Colorama Split 7"

Yn Rhydiau'r Afon / Forget Tomorrow

Self-released in 2014

In 2014, The Joy Formidable began the Aruthrol series - a self-released series of split singles highlighting fellow Welsh bands. They were limited to 500 numbered copies, available by mail order from the Joy Formidable's online store. The Joy Formidable tracks on the singles were all sung in Welsh. This was the first in the series - it is also the most difficult to find. The band started selling unnumbered copies in 2016 (this appears to have been a re-press, not leftovers from the original run). Those copies are a little less expensive. All were on black vinyl.
