Here Ain't the Sonics

Popllama/Estrus PL-ES-0024 2xLP / PL-ES-CD0024 CD, released 1989 (U.S.)
Blue Rose BRRC 10011 2xLP / BRRC 10012 CD, released 1989 (UK)
Contains the Screaming Trees song "Psycho"

Where would we be without The Sonics? Very cool covers throughout this one. Screaming Trees did "Psycho", which was exclusive to this release. It came out as a joint release between Popllama and Estrus and separately via Blue Rose Record Company. There were black color vinyl varieties for both. The Popllama/Estrus color vinyl double LP was on green vinyl, while the Blue Rose one, fittingly, was on blue vinyl. Most variants seem pretty common. The Popllama/Estrus ones seem more readily available across the board than the Blue Rose ones. The blue vinyl version seems fairly scarce. There were also CDs on both labels.
