The independent L.A. publication theLAnd did a fundraiser in 2021, and Dulli contributed this Prince cover medley to the proceedings. Contributors got the digital compilation, and people who backed the campaign at the $50 level got a CD version. I had always assumed that this was recorded at one of the two Dulli ticketed pandemic streaming shows from 2021, recorded at Gold Diggers in L.A. I finally got a chance to hear this version and can confirm that it is a different recording. Anyway, because of the higher dollar value of the campaign, you can expect the CD to be fairly expensive if and when it is sold. I have yet to see one sold. A digital version of the comp is also available on Bandcamp for like $100...
