Let It Be Me b/w Fade Into You

Sub Pop SP1037 7", released 2012 (U.S.)

So this one's a hell of a thing. This is one of those records that, upon finding out it existed, I just closed my eyes, sighed, and cursed under my breath. This split single was made for and given out at the wedding of the illustrious CEO of Sub Pop, Megan Jasper, in 2012. The J Mascis cover of Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You" has been released elsewhere. Greg Dulli's cover of "Let It Be Me", first recorded by The Everly Brothers, has not. It took me several years and carried a hefty price tag, but I did eventually get a copy. If you are after one, I wish you luck on your journey. It's a monster. Black vinyl.
