Afghan Whigs album number three, released on Sub Pop in 1992. At the time, the only vinyl version was released on Sub Pop Europe, all on black vinyl. A lot of these were pressed, meaning the sale prices did not jump for a while. That held true until around 2010, and then became a bit unpredictable. A ton of these were sold in 2017, right around when the re-presses came out. I don't know if this was panic about the price dropping because of the reissue or perceived renewed interest in the album (also because of the reissues). Either way, flooding the market with originals made the value drop. It has settled into a consistent range now, and has not gone back up.
Speaking of re-presses...Sub Pop released a Loser Edition double LP of Congregation in the U.S. and another in Europe. The U.S. one is a beautiful red marble color, while the European issue is a solid red. There were also re-presses made on black vinyl.
