Team Dresch

Hand Grenade

Kill Rock Stars KRS-227 7", released 1994/2019

This was one hell of a debut single. I think "Hand Grenade" is one of the best songs Team Dresch ever recorded (or, well, anyone, really). An all around favorite of mine. Side note: there was an awesome acoustic version of "Hand Grenade" that Kaia did on a bonus digital album that came with her Godmakesmonkeys CD. It was longer than I care to admit before I realized the bonus album was there.

Anyway, this 7" was on Kill Rock Stars, and was originally on black vinyl. It was re-pressed in 2019 (to accompany the two Team Dresch album re-presses and their brief tour). It came out on green and clear vinyl. I think the green was a mail order exclusive and the clear was an indie retailer exclusive. No idea on the pressing numbers, but the clear one seems to be a lot easier to find. Both are fairly easy to get for the moment, but that will change.
