It is only by random chance that I even know this comp exists.  I happened upon it in a record store in Syracuse in...oh, right about 1997.  It contains a Pietasters track that never appeared anywhere else until the 1992-1996 set came out (it is called "One More Bottle of Beer" on that release, and, interestingly, is labeled "previously unreleased").  The TOo Hectic track is exclusive to this disc.  I have no idea how many of these were made, but the discs are numbered (the discs themselves, not the cases)...my copy is number 357.  Scarce.

M.O.M. II: Music for Our Mother Ocean

Includes the Pietasters track "Ocean" (with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones)

Way back in the days when we had mid-major labels, before they were devoured by Washington and the major label corporations...things like this comp could happen.  A Pietasters track, redone with the Bosstones, on a disc with Porno for Pyros, Counting Crows, and...Jimmy Buffett?!?  Yep, that happened.

Pretty straightforward, really...the Pietasters do AC/DC's Big Balls...the Slackers are also on this one with Wanted Dead or Alive, but I didn't include this one in their write-up since it appeared on one of their albums around the same time.  CD only.
